We’re still a few days away from Black Friday, but BestBlackFriday.com has already released a list of stores that will be closed on Thanksgiving Day ahead of the shopping day. The website reached out to PR representatives of the stores over the past month, and so far, dozens have already announced they will be closed on Black Friday.
According to a new survey, only about a quarter of Americans prefer Thanksgiving openings while nearly half dislike them.

How To Score At Black Friday Sales
If you are planning on heading out on Black Friday, then there are some surefire ways to ensure you score the deals you want.
First of all — do your research. Get on stores’ email lists at least two weeks in advance. This way, you can double up on the savings by using coupons. When the day comes, you should know which stores you are heading to and what specific items you will be purchasing at each location.
It also helps to buy discounted gift cards for the stores where you will be shopping (and save a bit more money!). Check out Raise.com, where you can purchase gift cards for 5 to 20 percent off face value.
